This is a very compact and low-profile light. It looks nice installed but if you're replacing an existing twin 40W fluro fitting, this is quite noticeably dimmer. I had thought a 36W LED fitting would be similar in light output to the old fluro. It's okay if you just want light to see your way, but in my opinion unsuitable as a single garage or workshop light if you intend working or cars or whatever.
