Yes this LED Strip is per metre – Each custom cut is rounded up to the next full metre. Off-cuts aren’t included. If you want the full metre you will need to cut yourself.
Depends where you’re using it. 300–500 lumens per metre is great for ambient lighting. For task lighting like kitchens or workbenches, go 800–1000 lumens per metre. If you are unsure please see this link below for a LED strip expert to assist.

No, they can’t be returned. Our LED strips are custom cut to your order, so we’re not able to resell them. Please make sure you double-check your measurements before buying.
Yes, they’re made to be cut at marked intervals—just make sure to cut on the line. Each brand will have different cut points. If you’re cutting an IP-rated (waterproof) strip, it’s not really advised unless you know what you’re doing. You’ll need to reseal the cut with silicone to maintain the waterproof rating.
You can use connectors or solder them. Just make sure the total length doesn’t exceed what your power supply can handle.
You’ll need to match the voltage (12V or 24V) and make sure the wattage of the power supply is at least 20% higher than your total strip wattage. We advice using the same brand stip and drivers for warranty purposes.
Yes, but you’ll need a compatible dimmer—either a wall dimmer, remote, or app-controlled option depending on the setup.
