The deck light is quality and is perfect along a deck close to a side wall or illuminating a column or post! Don’t use it for a step light facing up as it will blind you looking down and could cause a fall! I used them initially on the front steps but will be changing for the above reason. If I put them in the riser of the steps they would shine into the street. Overall great light at a side of any deck or deck walkway!
