A full 4 metre run draws 28w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 34w, which in practice means a 50w driver. Because this slim strip carries current on a very narrow PCB, keep each run to 4 metres or less and feed every run separately. Several runs can share one driver as long as each has its own feed and the total load stays within the driver's rating: a full 10 metre roll split into three runs draws 70w, so a 100w driver covers it. The 10 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. Where there is no room for a profile, the 3M backing works on clean, dry, smooth surfaces, ideally metal.
