Scandustrial is a clumsy word for a genuinely good idea: the warmth and pale timber of Scandinavian design paired with the exposed metal and honest hardware of industrial. This table lamp is a clean example. A turned timber base, a slim metal arm and shade above it, and no attempt to hide the join between the two.
At 500mm tall on a 150mm base it is sized for a bedside table or a side table beside a chair, where it lights a book without dominating the surface. Four finishes are offered for the metalwork: matt black, matt white, brushed copper and brushed brass. The copper and brass options in particular pick up the timber grain nicely.
The shade is open, so the globe shows. An exposed filament globe is the pairing this lamp was designed around and is worth the extra few dollars.
Takes one E27 globe up to 42 watts, sold separately. The switch sits on the cord within easy reach.
