The lamp post appears well made and watertight. I haven't seen any bugs/spiders or rain inside the glass over the last month. Its rained heavily on many occasions. It looks nice a night with a filament led bulb. I installed it by covering over an existing metal pole from an old lamp post with Pvc pipe from Bunnings. The pipe was the painted black.

A quality all real aluminium and glass light in satin black. Comes with a traditional foot or 85mm round post mount depending on your needs.
