Installed this fan into a new window in the bathroom of an old brick flat to break a mould problem. So far the fan works very efficiently at clearing out the moisture of the bathroom, it moves plenty of air.

The fan looks good, although the bulk of the working parts are on the inside. Backdraft shutters are good and close fairly tight, but take a while to open and close. Fan runs quieter than expected.

The optional weather cap was very expensive for what is essentially a piece of plastic held together with cheap screws.

The fan is large and bulky, more sits on the inside than outside, so if you have draw down blinds they may get in the way which mine did.

Very easy fit, especially if you have the right size hole, mine was bigger.

Min 4 mm glass I had to use rubber spacers. looked really good and firm when finished.

The shutter mechanism is like a dashpot relay with a time delay to start, trap for young and old players.

One of the internal covers was broken.
