Excellent quality serviceable fitting.

this unit was easy to install and looks great. Simply clip the lamp holder onto the spring and it sits there nice and secure, and the cable provides enough room to install or change the globe. It fit into my cutout perfectly and holds in place nice and secure and flat on the ceiling. Gimbal works well so you can angle the LED if you need to , but remember, it only angles one direction (left-right, or back-forward) so ensure you put it in the ceiling the correct way if you want to angle it.

We put smart gu10 globes in these but the little metal clasp that's meant to hold the neck of the bulb is made for the standard short gu10 globes, so we had to bend them outwards quite far for the smart globes to fit. As a result the globes are basically just sitting on the rim rather than being held in place by the clasp, so it makes it hard to use the tilting feature without the globe sliding off. But the smart globes connect fine and look good as long as you don't tilt them.
