Choosing a driver
Each module draws 0.72w. This pack of 20 is the maximum run of 20 modules and draws 14.4w in total. With about 20% headroom that needs a 12v driver of at least 18w, which in practice means a 30w driver. For larger signs, use extra packs as separate runs of 20 modules or fewer, each with its own feed.
Mounting and outdoor use
Fix the modules evenly across the back of the sign box or letter so the light spreads without hotspots, and keep the spacing consistent from one module to the next. Outdoors, make all connections in a waterproof connector or junction box and keep the driver under cover or use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver.
IP65 rated, suitable for damp and sheltered locations such as outdoor sign boxes.
