Free cut COB LED strip, 12w per metre, CRI 90
This COB strip has a free cut design, so you can trim it to the length you need rather than working to fixed cut marks. The chips are packed tightly enough to give a smooth, dot free line, which is ideal where the strip sits close to the surface it lights.
With CRI over 90 and up to 1300 lumens per metre, it brings out true colours in kitchens, wardrobes, display cabinets and shelving. The 8mm width suits slim profiles, and there are three fixed white options to match the space.

Choosing a driver
Allow 12w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. As a worked example, a 5 metre run draws 60w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 72w, which in practice means a 100w driver. For bigger installs, split the strip into separate runs, each with its own feed. The 30 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
We recommend mounting this strip in an aluminium profile, which draws heat away from the chips, protects the strip and extends its life. For warranty purposes it must be installed on an aluminium heat dissipating surface, such as a profile or heat sink. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip, and add a diffuser for the softest line of light.
