Dual colour temperature LED strip, 3000k and 5500k, 12v
With 3000k and 5500k LEDs on the same strip, this 12v tape gives you warm and daylight white from a single run when paired with an LED controller. It packs 120 LEDs into each metre for 1560 lumens per metre.
It works well in kitchens, home offices, bathrooms and retail displays where one fixed white does not suit every task. The 10mm strip has 3M double sided tape for easy fixing and cuts every 50mm.

Choosing a driver and controller
Allow 14.4w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 72w, so it needs a 12v driver of at least 87w, which in practice means a 100w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately. Your LED controller must also be rated for the full load of the run.
Mounting and heat
We recommend mounting this strip in an aluminium profile, which draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the strip and extends its life. Choose a profile at least 11mm wide inside to suit the 10mm strip, and add a diffuser for the softest line of light. The 3M double sided tape holds it in place.
