* If you require custom cut lengths please specify measurements in the order notes at checkout.
* Custom cut LED strip is sold per metre. Each cut is rounded up to the metre, e.g. 2 x 500mm is charged as 2 metres. To avoid delays, round each cut length up to the metre.
* All custom cut strip lighting is non refundable for change of mind.
Bright COB LED strip, 14w per metre with CRI 90
This Pixel COB strip steps up the output for jobs that need more than an accent line. It puts out up to 1568 lumens per metre from a dense COB layout on a 10mm PCB, so you get strong, even light with no visible dots or hotspots, even in shallow profiles.
It suits cove and bulkhead lighting, kitchen and laundry task lighting, retail shelving and joinery where the strip needs to do real work. CRI 90 colour rendering keeps timber, stone and food looking natural.

Choosing a driver
Allow 14w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 70w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 84w, which in practice means a 100w driver. Fed from both ends, a 10 metre run draws 140w and needs a 200w driver. For anything longer, split the strip into separate runs and feed each one. The 50 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
At 14w per metre this strip produces noticeable heat, so we recommend mounting it in an aluminium profile. The profile draws heat away from the chips, protects the strip and extends its life. Choose a profile at least 11mm wide inside to suit the 10mm strip, and add a diffuser for the softest line of light.
IP20 rated for dry indoor locations only.
