Dotless COB RGB LED strip, 15w per metre, IP54
This COB RGB strip blends its colours into one continuous ribbon of light, so you get rich, even colour without the spotty look of standard RGB tape. It is a great fit for cabinetry, feature walls, bar fronts and entertainment areas.
The IP54 rating adds protection against dust and splashes, which makes it a sensible choice for bathrooms, laundries and sheltered spaces where a bare IP20 strip would be at risk.

Choosing a driver and controller
Allow 15w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 75w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 90w, which in practice means a 100w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately. The 10 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. Your RGB controller handles colour and dimming, and it must be rated for the full load of the run. In damp or outdoor locations, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver and controller, or keep them under cover.
Mounting and heat
This strip must be installed on an aluminium heat dissipating surface to keep the warranty valid, and an aluminium profile does the job neatly while protecting the strip and extending its life. Choose a profile at least 11mm wide inside to suit the 10mm strip. Seal any cut ends to keep the IP54 protection.
IP54 rated for damp and sheltered locations, such as bathrooms, laundries and covered areas.
