Wall washer LED strip, 18w per metre, IP67
Wall washer strip is designed to throw light across a surface rather than simply glow. This IP67 version uses 48 chips per metre at 18w per metre, giving 1265 to 1459 lumens per metre to wash facades, feature walls and screens with an even sheet of light.
Being fully sealed, it is equally at home outdoors on building facades, retaining walls, fences and planter boxes as it is indoors on stone or textured feature walls. CRI above 90 brings out the colour and texture of brick, timber, render and foliage.

Choosing a driver
Allow 18w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run, the maximum length, draws 90w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 108w, which in practice means a 150w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and give each run its own feed. Outdoors or in damp areas, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver or keep the driver under cover.
Mounting and heat
At 18w per metre this strip produces real heat, so we recommend mounting it in an aluminium profile or on a metal surface that can draw heat away from the chips and extend their life. Choose a profile at least 20mm wide inside to suit the 19mm strip. The 3M double sided tape on the back makes fixing straightforward. For an even wash, set the strip back from the base of the wall rather than tight against it.
If you cut the strip, reseal every cut end with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP67 rating, and make any outdoor joins in a waterproof connector or junction box.
IP67 rated for outdoor use.
