High output CSP LED strip, 19.2w per metre, IP54
This high output CSP strip pairs 19.2w per metre with an IP54 coating, giving 1185 to 1298 lumens per metre in places where moisture is a concern. 480 chips per metre deliver an even, continuous line.
It works well for strong task and feature lighting in bathrooms, laundries, kitchens and covered outdoor spaces such as alfresco ceilings and eaves. CRI above 90 keeps colours true.

Choosing a driver
Allow 19.2w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run, the maximum length, draws 96w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 115.2w, which in practice means a 150w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and give each run its own feed. Outdoors or in damp areas, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver or keep the driver under cover.
Mounting and heat
At 19.2w per metre this strip produces real heat, so we recommend mounting it in an aluminium profile. The profile draws heat away from the chips, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip. The 3M double sided tape on the back makes fixing straightforward.
If you cut the strip, reseal every cut end with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP54 rating, and make any outdoor joins in a waterproof connector or junction box.
IP54 rated, suitable for damp or sheltered locations such as covered outdoor areas, but not for direct exposure to water jets or immersion.
