I used this unit for subfloor ventilation. It is powerful but quiet enough for how powerful it is! It suited my purpose perfectly! The proof will be with time. I would recommend this item.

Living in Far North Queensland, where we experience high humidity most of the year with resulting mildew, I needed an exhaust system that did the job.
After extensive research and seeking expert advice, it was evident that the standard exhaust fans were just not up to what was needed as their extraction rates were poor to fair at best.
On the recommendation of my electrician, I researched Ventair products. I decided on the Ventair VMFIL150 high power exhaust fan, coupled to the air vent adapter VMFK150 and the AIRBUS 200 fascia via the Ventair aluminum ducting. This created an extremely efficient inline exhaust system.
Although the exhaust fan has high & low settings, I find that the low setting is more that I need. Great product, especially with its 5 year guarantee,

We bought a high powered exhaust fan, but it couldn't be installed due to various RSJ's in the ceiling being in the way. So, we found this great in-line fan, with flexible ducting, which we were able to exhaust to the outside wall. It is a perfect solution, moves all the hot air out during showers, is very high powered and is reasonably quiet. A great outcome!

Great unit, very quiet and efficient, certainly operates to specs. Used to to inflate rather than exhaust.

Gave this fan three stars only it does a great job in the bathroom yay no more steam. However the back draft vents are rubbish and will fail they are made of cheap plastic and the spring to close them is weak. Also the backdraft blades extend into the ducting and if the ducting is not perfectly straight the blades will jam, I removed my as I have a back draft installed further down the line, Other problem is the five year warranty which is only valid if you get a licensed Electrician to fit it. They advertise the fact this has a cord and standard three pin plug that plugs in a power point and that home handymen can do this. As it was my existing fan was wired to a power point and it was a straight swap for the VMFIL150. But to get an warranty I would a sparky to do the work
