This strip gives you two lights in one: full RGB colour for mood and a separate 3000k warm white channel for proper everyday light. Because the white comes from its own chips rather than mixed colours, it looks clean and warm instead of blue or patchy.
That makes it ideal for living rooms, media rooms, bedrooms and hospitality spaces that need to switch between relaxed white light and colour. It runs at 20w per metre for 950 lumens per metre.

Choosing a driver and controller
Allow 20w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run, the maximum length, draws 100w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 120w, which in practice means a 150w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and give each run its own feed. Your RGBW controller must also be rated for the full load of every run it drives.
Mounting and heat
At 20w per metre this strip produces real heat, so we recommend mounting it in an aluminium profile. The profile draws heat away from the chips, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 13mm wide inside to suit the 12mm strip. The 3M double sided tape on the back makes fixing straightforward.
