A sealed RGBCW strip with full colour plus 3000k warm white and 5500k daylight channels. From one installation you can have colour for parties, a warm glow for relaxing and bright white for practical tasks.
The IP67 rating protects it against dust and water immersion, so it suits outdoor entertaining areas, pergolas and decks as well as bathrooms and other wet spots.

Choosing a driver and controller
Allow 24w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 120w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 144w, which in practice means a 150w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately. Your RGBCW controller handles colour and dimming, and it must be rated for the full load of the run. In damp or outdoor locations, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver and controller, or keep them under cover.
Mounting and outdoor use
An aluminium profile at least 17mm wide inside suits the 16mm strip, drawing heat away and protecting it. Reseal every cut end with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP67 rating, and make outdoor joins in a waterproof connector or junction box.
