Extra low wattage LED strip, 2w per metre, 24v
At just 2w per metre, this strip is made for soft background glow rather than task lighting. 160 LEDs per metre keep the line even, and the very low power draw keeps driver sizes small and running costs close to nothing.
It suits toe kicks, under bed lighting, hallway night lighting, shelving, display cabinets and any spot where you want a gentle wash of light. CRI above 90 keeps colours natural even at low output. Available in 3000k, 4000k and 5500k, per metre or as a 30 metre roll.

Choosing a driver
Allow 2w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A 5 metre run draws 10w, so a 24v driver of at least 12w covers it, and a 30w driver leaves plenty of spare capacity. No maximum run length is published for this strip, so split longer installs into separate runs, each with its own feed. The 30 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
This strip runs cool, but we still recommend an aluminium profile. It protects the strip, helps it last, and with a diffuser gives the cleanest possible line. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip.
