Low output CSP LED strip, 4.8w per metre, IP20
This is a gentle, low wattage CSP LED strip for accent light rather than task light. At 4.8w per metre it gives around 360 to 382 lumens per metre, a soft glow that sits comfortably in the background, and 480 chips per metre keep the line smooth and even.
It suits shelving, display cabinets, bedheads, toe kicks and the underside of floating vanities, anywhere you want a subtle line of light that does not compete with the room's main lighting. CRI above 90 keeps colours looking true, and the slim 8mm board fits the narrowest profiles.

Choosing a driver
Allow 4.8w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run, the maximum length, draws 24w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 28.8w, which in practice means a 30w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and give each run its own feed.
Mounting and heat
This strip runs cool, but we recommend mounting it in an aluminium profile. The profile draws heat away from the chips, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip. The 3M double sided tape on the back makes fixing straightforward.
