LED sheet, 60w per sheet, 24v
Instead of a single line of light, this LED sheet gives you a flat panel of 288 LEDs that lights a whole surface evenly. It is the go to choice for backlighting: onyx and marble bar fronts, illuminated splashbacks, light boxes, signage and translucent wall panels, where strips would leave visible lines and dark gaps.
Each 240mm x 480mm sheet produces over 5000 lumens, and sheets can be linked together with the small cable supplied to cover a larger area. It can be cut at every LED, so it can be trimmed to suit the panel it sits behind. CRI above 90 keeps natural stone and printed graphics looking true.

Choosing a driver
Allow 60w for every sheet and add about 20% headroom. One sheet draws 60w and needs a 24v driver of at least 72w, which in practice means a 100w driver. The maximum of 4 linked sheets draws 240w and needs a driver of at least 288w, so a 300w driver. For larger areas, split the sheets into groups of 4 or fewer and feed each group separately.
Mounting and heat
Fix the sheet to a flat, clean surface behind your diffusing panel using the 3M backing. Leave some space between the sheet and the panel so the light can blend into an even glow, and mount it on a surface that lets heat escape, such as aluminium or a ventilated cavity.
