* If you require custom cut lengths please specify measurements in the order notes at checkout.
* Custom cut LED strip is sold per metre. Each cut is rounded up to the metre, e.g. 2 x 500mm is charged as 2 metres. To avoid delays, round each cut length up to the metre.
* All custom cut strip lighting is non refundable for change of mind.
Long run COB LED strip, up to 20 metres from one feed
Most 24v strips start to dim and shift colour after about 5 metres. This Pixel COB strip uses a constant current design along the tape, so you can run up to 20 metres from a single power feed with minimal brightness drop and consistent colour from start to finish. That means fewer feed points, fewer cables to hide and a much simpler install on long joinery, shelving and architectural runs.
480 COB LEDs per metre give a smooth, dot free line of light with no visible hotspots, even in shallow profiles. CRI 90 colour rendering keeps timber, stone, food and skin tones looking natural, which makes it a strong choice for kitchens, wardrobes and retail displays.

Choosing a driver
Allow 7.5w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 20 metre run draws 150w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 180w, which in practice means a 200w driver. A 10 metre run draws 75w and suits a 100w driver. The 20 metre roll is a single continuous length, so it can go in as one run with one feed. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
At 7.5w per metre this strip runs cool, but we still recommend mounting it in an aluminium profile. The profile protects the strip, draws heat away from the chips and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest possible line of light. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip. Operating temperature is minus 25°C to 45°C.
