RGBW wall washer LED strip, 8w per metre, IP67
This wall washer strip combines red, green and blue LEDs with a dedicated white channel, so one strip can wash a wall in colour for events and then switch to a clean white for everyday use. It is built to throw light across a surface rather than create a bright line, making it a strong choice for facades, feature walls, columns and landscape walls.
Choose the version with a warm 3000k white or a crisp 6500k white to suit the setting. IP67 sealing means it is ready for outdoor use, and the 3M backing makes it quick to fix.

Choosing a driver and controller
Allow 8w for every metre and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 40w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 48w, which in practice means a 60w driver. Your RGBW controller must also be rated for the full load of the run. For longer walls, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less, each with its own feed. Outdoors, use a weatherproof driver and controller or keep them under cover.
Mounting and outdoor use
Mount the strip close to the base or top of the wall you want to wash, using an aluminium profile where possible to protect it and draw heat away from the LEDs. Cut only at the marked 125mm points, reseal every cut end with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP67 rating, and make any outdoor joins in a waterproof connector or junction box.
