CSP LED strip, 9.6w per metre, IP20
A versatile everyday strip for indoor joinery and ceilings. Its 480 chip scale LEDs per metre sit close together, so the light reads as an even line in a profile instead of a string of bright points, and at 9.6w per metre it has enough output for under cabinet task lighting as well as coves and shelving.
The slim 8mm x 2mm tape fits standard profiles easily, and CRI above 90 keeps benchtops, timber and food looking natural. Four colour temperatures make it easy to match the rest of the lighting in the room.

Choosing a driver
Allow 9.6w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 48w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 58w, which in practice means a 60w driver. For longer installs, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately.
Mounting and heat
We recommend an aluminium profile for this strip. It draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the tape and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip.
IP20 rated for dry indoor locations only.
