Blue CSP LED strip, 9.6w per metre, IP54
A single colour blue strip for feature and mood lighting. It gives bars, entertainment areas, signage, aquarium cabinets and stage edges a strong, saturated blue without the need for an RGB controller, so the wiring stays as simple as a white strip.
The IP54 coating protects it from splashes and dust, so it can also be used in covered outdoor areas and around bars and kitchens. 480 chip scale LEDs per metre keep the colour even along the run.

Choosing a driver
Allow 9.6w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 48w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 58w, which in practice means a 60w driver. For longer runs, split the strip into lengths of 5 metres or less and feed each one. Outdoors or in damp areas, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver or keep the driver under cover.
Mounting and heat
We recommend an aluminium profile to protect the strip, draw heat away from the LEDs and extend its life. A diffuser turns the colour into a smooth, even line. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip.
IP54 rated, so it suits damp and sheltered locations such as covered outdoor areas.
