Waterproof blue CSP LED strip, 9.6w per metre, IP67
This fully sealed blue strip brings colour to outdoor and wet area features: pool and spa edges, water features, garden walls, outdoor bars and signage. It is a fixed single colour, so it runs from a standard 24v driver with no RGB controller to set up.
IP67 sealing protects it from rain and splashes, and 480 chip scale LEDs per metre give a smooth, even band of blue along the whole run.

Choosing a driver
Allow 9.6w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 48w and needs a 24v driver of at least 58w, so a 60w driver in practice. Split longer runs into lengths of 5 metres or less, each with its own feed. Outdoors or in damp areas, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver or keep the driver under cover.
Mounting and heat
An aluminium profile protects the strip, draws heat away from the LEDs and extends its life. Choose a profile at least 13mm wide inside to suit the 12mm strip. Reseal every cut end with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP67 rating, and make outdoor joins in a waterproof connector or junction box.
