Coloured CSP LED strip, red, green or blue, 9.6w per metre
Sometimes you want one bold colour, not a colour changing system. This strip comes in fixed red, green or blue, so it can pick out a brand colour, light a bar shelf or add a coloured glow to a games room or home theatre using nothing more than a standard 24v driver.
480 chip scale LEDs per metre give an even line of colour, and the slim 8mm tape fits standard profiles. It is designed for dry indoor spaces such as bars, retail displays, signage and entertainment areas.

Choosing a driver
Allow 9.6w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 48w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 58w, which in practice means a 60w driver. For longer installs, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately.
Mounting and heat
Mount the strip in an aluminium profile to draw heat away from the LEDs, protect the tape and extend its life. A diffuser blends the colour into a smooth line. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip.
