COB LED strip, 9.6w per metre, 50 metre roll
A full 50 metre roll of dot free COB strip for larger jobs. With 320 chips per metre, it gives a seamless line of light in warm, cool or daylight white, and it arrives with crimp on connectors to speed up the install.
It is a practical choice for whole house joinery, apartment fitouts, retail shelving and any project with many runs of strip. The slim 8mm width suits shallow profiles and tight spaces.

Choosing a driver
Allow 9.6w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 48w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 58w, which in practice means a 60w driver. Cut the roll into runs of 5 metres or less and give each run its own feed. The 50 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting.
Mounting and heat
To keep the warranty valid, this strip must be mounted on an aluminium surface that draws heat away from the LEDs, and an aluminium profile is the simplest way to do it. The profile also protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip. The 3M backing holds the strip in place while you fit it.
