Micro LED strip, 4mm wide, 9.6w per metre
This micro strip packs real output into a 4mm wide tape. At 9.6w per metre and up to 870 lumens per metre, it can do proper task lighting from inside the slimmest profiles, recessed handle rails and shadow gaps, where a standard tape would never fit.
Cut points every 25mm make it easy to fit short cabinet, shelf and display lengths precisely. CRI above 90 keeps displayed products and benchtops looking true, and it works with a wide range of dimming systems.

Choosing a driver
Allow 9.6w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 48w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 58w, which in practice means a 60w driver. For longer installs, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately. To dim the strip, choose a dimmable 24v driver to match your dimming system and a compatible dimmer or controller.
Mounting and heat
At this output in such a narrow tape, an aluminium profile is strongly recommended. It draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 5mm wide inside to suit the 4mm strip.
