A very attractive fixture with what appears to be a high quality build.
Bought the 2700K fixtures for my kitchen but made the mistake of buying the VIVID version of these lights.
What you need to know with the VIVID feature is that with the extra light frequencies that are added to improve the CRI the big trade off is that these lights look like they have a much cooler colour temperature than the warm look that one would expect with a 2700K fixture.
The end result is something that really looks like it pushing well beyond 3200K and probably more towards the 4000K end of the spectrum.
Unfortunately not a good look in a home where you want to simulate a nice warm tungsten incandescent look. Probably more suited for a shop display window or similar environment where high lumens and high CRI are desirable.
They also look terrible when dimmed as the light takes on an ashen quality similar to fluorescent lighting.
Maybe the non VIVID version is better but best avoid these if warm lighting is what you are looking for.
Low star rating is because I don't believe that Trend lighting are delivering on the promised 2700K specification as advertised with these VIVID units.

I purchased a whole range of different LED downlights from the lighting outlet, all of them were the Trend Lighting brand. I wished to see the differences between various models and also between the CRI 90+ and their VIVID 100 versions. I particularly was interested in the 2700k warmth but did test some 3000k as well.
Without a doubt, the 2700k VIVID CRI was the best. The 90+ CRI didn’t reproduce the clarity of colour and adds a yellow wash to the tone. The other cheaper models were all over the show in their colour reproduction. But this 2700k VIVID model was amazing. I used wide angles throughout the house, but did use some narrow beam versions over benches in the kitchen and outside for slashing more dramatically down walls. I installed around 55 of these lights myself (happen to be an electrician), and couldn't be more happy.
I used close placement to walls throughout my house (usually within 50cm) to get a decent level of bounce from the wall. This generates a much more pleasing visual atmosphere to the eye. Only place they didn't serve well was in the garage, as the wides only have a 60 degree beam, which means you get alot of shadowing under benches, shelving etc. I swapped these out for some cheaper slimline very wide angle LEDs to fill in the shadows and this does the job great in the garage. Admittedly I had the advantage of saving on labour, as these are a very expensive fitting. But I cannot recommend them more highly. The quality of colour production and the…

Without a doubt, this particular model in the 90+ CRI was the best. The 100+ became more green which was suprising. The cheaper models were all over the show in their colour reproduction.
