PLEASE NOTE: Lamp shades are non refundable. Please check the measurements carefully to make sure they will fit your lamp, this is a common mistake we see daily.
Description:
The small white part that holds a whole lamp together. This is a four piece bayonet lampholder in B22, with a 10mm threaded entry for the cord and a removable threaded skirt so a shade ring can be clamped in place and then taken off again when you want to change it.
Four piece means the body separates properly, which matters when you are rewiring rather than building from new. You can feed the flex through, terminate it on the block, and reassemble without fighting a sealed holder. The 10mm thread is the common size for pendant suspensions and lamp bases, so it drops straight into most rewiring jobs on an older lamp.
It measures 75mm long and 40mm across, and the plain white finish disappears under a shade or against a white ceiling rose. B22 is the bayonet fitting most Australian households already have globes for, so a rewire in B22 usually means nothing else has to change. Wiring is a job for a licensed electrician.
