An open weave rattan cane shade, hand woven, 350mm across and 320mm deep. Because the cane is flat rather than round, the weave throws a distinct pattern of light and shadow onto the ceiling and walls once the globe is on. That patterning is really the point of this shade, so it is worth thinking about which globe you pair with it.
A clear filament globe gives the sharpest shadow lines. An opal globe softens everything and is the easier option if the fitting will sit near eye level over a table or bench, where a bare filament tends to glare.
It fits most E27 pendant suspensions using the 43mm top shade fitting, and a competent handy person can generally swap a shade onto an existing cord set without calling an electrician. The shade is supplied on its own, so you will need both a suspension and a globe.
