Orders must be a minimum of $200 for us to process. Each country may have importing taxes, it is the customers responsibility to look into their country's importing tax. It does the job but it is a very basic lampshade and the outside is painted plastic and nbot wood and glass as the photo suggests. It is that sort of thing that you might find in the reject shop for $10

I purchased two of the Akira, White/Copper lamp shades for corridors to and from two bedrooms. These were delivered well packaged and arrived promptly.
The Akira fitting was easy to install in less than 5 minutes each. No tools required. Make sure the power is off, unscrew the batten lower section, place the shade over the batten and screw back the batten lower section. Replace the light globe. Done!
The shade has a small gap between the shade and ceiling which throws a annular ring of light back onto the ceiling. The fabric surround provides diffused light. The overall effect is very pleasant.
I have a 12 or 18W LED, white light. I am going to drop the power down and to a Warm lamp so the light is a little more subdued. T he lamps are in corridors which only require safe lighting at night. Not a bright down light.
