COB LED strip, 20w per metre, warm to cool white or RGBW
This Aqualux COB strip packs up to 576 LEDs into every metre for a clean, continuous line of light with no dark spots between LEDs. It is made for indoor jobs where the strip shows or sits in a shallow profile: kitchen joinery, coves, shelving and wardrobes.
Pick from five whites, from a candle like 2000k through to a crisp 4000k, or choose the RGBW version to add colour with a dedicated white channel. A wide 180° spread of light and a 5 year warranty round it out.

Choosing a driver and controller
Allow 20w per metre for the white versions and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 100w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 120w, which in practice means a 150w driver. Fed from both ends, a 10 metre run draws 200w and needs a 300w driver. The RGBW version draws 16w per metre: 80w over 5 metres needs a 100w driver, and 160w over 10 metres fed from both ends needs a 200w driver, with an RGBW controller rated for the full load. For longer installs, split the strip into runs and feed each one separately.
Mounting and heat
Mount the strip in an aluminium profile to draw heat away, protect it and extend its life. Choose a profile at least 13mm wide inside to suit the 12mm strip, and add a diffuser for the softest line. The strip bends vertically with a minimum bend diameter of 50mm. Install between 5°C and 35°C; once installed it operates from minus 20°C to 40°C.
