Built for indoor jobs that need a lot of light, this Aqualux strip delivers up to 3320 lumens per metre from 20w, which makes it a very efficient strip. A heavy duty 3oz copper base helps carry heat away from the LEDs.
CRI 90 and colour consistency within 3 SDCM mean every metre looks the same and timber, stone and skin tones look natural. Use it for cove lighting, bulkheads, high ceilings and long runs of joinery where the strip is the main light.

Choosing a driver
Allow 20w for every metre and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 100w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 120w, which in practice means a 150w driver. Fed from both ends, a 10 metre run draws 200w and needs a 300w driver. For longer installs, split the strip into runs and give each one its own feed.
Mounting and heat
At 20w per metre this strip runs warm, and the 5 year warranty only applies when it is mounted in aluminium extrusion. Choose a profile at least 11mm wide inside to suit the 10mm strip, and add a diffuser for the softest line of light. The strip bends vertically with a minimum bend diameter of 50mm. Install between 5°C and 35°C; it operates from minus 20°C to 40°C.
