Neon flex LED strip, IP65, 5w or 10w per metre
This Aqualux neon flex is made as one continuous silicone extrusion, then terminated to length with IP65 overmoulded cable entries. The result is a smooth, unbroken line of light that looks like glass neon without the fragility or the heat.
Choose 5w per metre for a soft accent or 10w per metre for a brighter line, in five whites from 2000k to 5000k. It suits coves, handrails, steps, signage and sheltered outdoor features, and works with PWM dimming, DMX and DALI control.

Choosing a driver
Work out watts per metre times the run length and add about 20% headroom. The 5w version runs up to 10 metres from a single feed (50w, so a 60w driver) or 20 metres fed from both ends (100w, so a 150w driver). The 10w version runs up to 6 metres from a single feed (60w, so a 100w driver) or 12 metres fed from both ends (120w, so a 150w driver). Use a 24v driver, and split longer installs into separate runs, each with its own feed. To dim it, use a dimmable 24v driver with a compatible dimmer or control system. Outdoors, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver or keep it under cover.
Mounting and outdoor use
Neon flex does not need an aluminium profile. Fix it with mounting clips or a mounting channel. This one bends vertically, with a minimum bend diameter of 60mm, so plan curves to suit. Reseal every cut end with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP65 rating, and make any outdoor joins in a waterproof connector or junction box.
IP65 rated, suitable for damp and sheltered locations. Operating range minus 20°C to 40°C; install between 5°C and 35°C.
