Slimline neon flex LED strip, 6mm wide, IP65, white or RGB
At just 6mm wide and 12mm high, this is the slimmest encapsulated neon flex in the Aqualux range. It slips into narrow joinery grooves, shadow lines and tight channels where a standard neon profile simply will not fit.
Choose a soft 5w or brighter 10w per metre white from 2000k to 5000k, or the RGB version for colour. Each length is cut and tailed to order, ready to install in feature lines, steps, signage and sheltered outdoor details.

Choosing a driver and controller
Multiply watts per metre by the run length and add about 20% headroom. At 5w per metre you can run 10 metres from a single feed (50w, so a 60w driver) or 20 metres fed from both ends (100w, so a 150w driver). At 10w per metre, including RGB, the limit is 8 metres from a single feed (80w, so a 100w driver) or 16 metres fed from both ends (160w, so a 200w driver). Use a 24v driver and split longer installs into separate runs, each with its own feed. For RGB, the controller must be rated for the full load. To dim the whites, use a dimmable 24v driver with a compatible dimmer. Outdoors, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver and controller, or keep them under cover.
Mounting and outdoor use
Neon flex does not need an aluminium profile. Fix it with mounting clips or a mounting channel. This one bends horizontally, with a minimum bend diameter of 100mm, so plan curves to suit. Reseal every cut end with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP65 rating, and make any outdoor joins in a waterproof connector or junction box.
IP65 rated, suitable for damp and sheltered locations. Operating range minus 20°C to 40°C; install between 5°C and 35°C.
