RGB neon flex LED strip, 10w per metre, IP65
This Aqualux RGB neon flex turns any line, curve or outline into a smooth band of colour. 5050 RGB LEDs sit behind a silicone diffuser, so the colour reads as one continuous glow rather than a row of dots.
Use it for bar fronts, signage, stair edges, entertainment areas and sheltered outdoor features. It runs on a standard 24v constant voltage setup and also works with DMX control.

Choosing a driver and controller
Allow 10w for every metre and add about 20% headroom. A full 8 metre run draws 80w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 96w, which in practice means a 100w driver. Fed from both ends, a 16 metre run draws 160w and needs a 200w driver. Your RGB controller must be rated for the full load. For longer installs, split the neon into separate runs and feed each one. Outdoors, use a weatherproof driver and controller or keep them under cover.
Mounting and outdoor use
Neon flex does not need an aluminium profile. Fix it with mounting clips or a mounting channel. This one bends vertically, with a minimum bend diameter of 80mm, so plan curves to suit. Reseal every cut end with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP65 rating, and make any outdoor joins in a waterproof connector or junction box.
IP65 rated, suitable for damp and sheltered locations. Operates from minus 20°C to 40°C; install between 5°C and 35°C.
