High output top view neon flex LED strip, 15w per metre, IP67
This Aqualux top view neon flex is built for outside the house. A 16mm by 15mm silicone profile gives moisture and mechanical protection, and 15w per metre puts out between 680 and 930 lumens per metre, enough to graze a wall or light a facade.
Use it for external facade lighting, in pavement channels and exterior wall grazing, in five whites from 2000k to 5000k or RGBW for colour.

Choosing a driver and controller
Allow 15w for every metre and add about 20% headroom. A full 7 metre run draws 105w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 126w, which in practice means a 150w driver. Fed from both ends, a 14 metre run draws 210w and needs a 300w driver. For RGBW, the controller must be rated for the full load. Split longer installs into separate runs, each with its own feed. Outdoors, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver or keep it under cover. To dim the whites, use a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and outdoor use
Neon flex does not need an aluminium profile. Fix it with mounting clips or a mounting channel. This one bends horizontally, with a minimum bend diameter of 300mm, so plan curves to suit. Reseal every cut end with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP67 rating, and make any outdoor joins in a waterproof connector or junction box.
