Black metalware, opal matt glass, and a shape that has not changed much in eighty years. That is not a criticism. Classic wall lights survive because they suit almost everything: a federation hallway, a renovated cottage, a new build that wants a bit of warmth, or a pair either side of a mirror.

Opal matt glass is the quiet hero here. It hides the globe entirely and softens the output, so there is no glare at eye level and no bright filament reflected in a mirror. That is the difference between a wall light you can live with next to a bed and one you switch off.

Compact at 250mm tall and 110mm wide, projecting 200mm from the wall on a 110mm backplate. Small enough for a narrow hallway where a wider fitting would catch a shoulder.

Takes one E27 globe up to 20w. The recommended globe is an E27 LED at 20w maximum, not supplied.

Indoor use only. As with any hardwired wall light, a licensed electrician needs to install it.
