Description:
A single surface mounted spot on a swivel head, sized small at an 80mm base and a 60mm shade so it stays discreet on a ceiling or a wall. The head adjusts, which is the whole point: you aim it at artwork, at a shelf, into a wardrobe or along a splashback rather than accepting wherever the ceiling point happens to sit.
It is supplied without a globe, and that is deliberate rather than a cost cut. A GU10 fitting takes a wide range of globes, and the beam angle you choose changes what the fitting does. A narrow beam makes a tight pool for artwork or a feature wall. A wider beam washes a whole shelf or joinery run. Buying the head and the globe separately lets you pick the effect after the fitting is up.
An LED GU10 is the sensible default. Halogen and CFL both work if you have them, but LED runs cooler and cheaper on a fitting that often ends up close to timber shelving or stored clothing.
Projection is 145mm from the mounting surface. Matt black recedes against a dark ceiling or a track run, matt white disappears against a standard plaster ceiling. Installation is a licensed electrician job, and it is covered by a one year warranty.
