Half a metre tall, in die cast aluminium with a textured black finish and obscure glass. The size is the thing here: at 500mm high with a 270mm projection it holds its own beside a double garage door or a wide entry, where a standard coach light would look undersized.
The obscure glass diffuses the globe so you do not get a glare point at eye level from the driveway, and the die cast body has the weight and the wall thickness to sit outside for years without the flex of pressed metal. A textured black finish also hides marks and holds up better than gloss on an exposed wall.
One E27 lamp holder rated to 60w, with the globe bought separately, and it is a good candidate for an LED filament since the glass hides the shape but not the warmth. IP44 rated. The backplate measures 260mm by 125mm, which is worth checking against your existing wiring point before you settle on the position.
