Timber beads strung over an off,white frame, three globes inside. The beads are the reason this pendant works. They are a natural, tactile material at a scale you can actually see from across a room, and the gaps between them let light through in a way a solid shade never does.
Three globes rather than one matters more than it sounds. Spread across a 500mm frame they light the beads evenly from within, so the whole shape glows rather than showing a single bright core, and the output is enough to carry a dining table or an entry foyer on its own.
The frame is finished in off,white, which keeps it quiet against a white ceiling and lets the timber read as the feature. It suits coastal and Hamptons rooms most obviously, but it holds its own in a plain modern hallway where a metal pendant would feel cold.
Supplied with 1500mm of clear cord suspension and a compact 110mm canopy. Overall height is 700mm, so allow for that under a standard ceiling.
