A water resistant version of our 12v natural white strip. The IP54 rating means it handles splashes and humidity, and 60 LEDs per metre give bright, even 5500k light along the 8mm tape.
It is a practical pick for bathroom and laundry task lighting, garages, sheds and sheltered outdoor benches. It runs on 12v DC and is cut to the length you order.

Choosing a driver
Allow 4.8w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 24w, so it needs a 12v constant voltage driver of at least 29w, which in practice means a 30w driver. For longer installs, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and give each run its own feed. In damp or exposed spots, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver or keep the driver under cover. To dim the strip, use a compatible 12v LED dimming controller rated for the load.
Mounting and heat
For the warranty to apply, install this strip on an aluminium heat dissipating surface and use anti static precautions when handling it. Mounting it in an aluminium profile does both jobs neatly, protects the strip and extends its life. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip.
IP54 rated, which makes it suitable for damp or sheltered locations rather than fully exposed outdoor positions.
