252 LEDs across a wide 39mm tape give this strip a powerful 4370 lumens per metre of neutral 4000k light. It is designed to be the main light source in a space, not an accent.

Choosing a driver
Allow 46w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A 5 metre run draws 230w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 276w, which in practice means a 300w driver. No maximum run length is published for this strip, so split longer installs into separate runs, each with its own feed. The 5 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
At 46w per metre this strip produces a lot of heat, so it must be mounted in an aluminium profile or on an aluminium heat sink. The aluminium draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser takes the glare off. Choose a profile at least 40mm wide inside to suit the 39mm strip.
