The slim 8mm strip and strong 3M backing make it a simple choice for cabinetry, shelving, cove lighting and architectural details in homes and shops. Up to 10 metres can run from one feed, and it comes cut to length or as a 30 metre roll.

Choosing a driver
Allow 9.6w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 10 metre run draws 96w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 115w, which in practice means a 150w driver. A 5 metre run draws 48w and suits a 60w driver. For longer installations, split the strip into runs of 10 metres or less and feed each run separately. The 30 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
We recommend mounting it in an aluminium profile. The profile draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 9mm wide inside to suit the 8mm strip. The 3M backing holds the strip firmly while you fit it.
