* If you require custom cut lengths please specify measurements in the order notes at checkout.
* Custom cut LED strip is sold per metre. Each cut is rounded up to the metre, e.g. 2 x 500mm is charged as 2 metres. To avoid delays, round each cut length up to the metre.
* All custom cut strip lighting is non refundable for change of mind.

Choosing a driver
Allow 9.6w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. As an example, a 5 metre run draws 48w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 58w, which in practice means a 60w driver. Split longer installs into separate runs, each with its own feed. The 20 metre roll is supplied as one reel, so plan your runs before cutting. Outdoors or in wet areas, use a weatherproof IP66 or IP67 driver or keep the driver under cover. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
To keep the warranty valid, this strip must be mounted on an aluminium surface that draws heat away from the LEDs, and an aluminium profile is the simplest way to do it. The profile also protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser gives the softest line of light. Choose a profile at least 14mm wide inside to suit the 13mm strip. If you cut the strip, reseal every cut end with an end cap and silicone to keep the IP67 rating, and make any outdoor joins in a waterproof connector or junction box.
IP67 rated for outdoor and moisture prone locations.
