Choosing a driver
Allow 4.8w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 20 metre run draws 96w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 115w, which in practice means a 150w driver. A 10 metre run draws 48w and suits a 60w driver. The 30 metre roll is one reel and is longer than a single run, so plan your runs before cutting and give each one its own feed. To dim the strip, pair it with a dimmable 24v driver and a compatible dimmer.
Mounting and heat
Mount this strip in an aluminium profile: the warranty requires an aluminium heat dissipating surface, and the profile also protects the strip and helps it last. Add a diffuser for a softer line. Allow at least 11mm inside the profile for the 10mm strip.
