It is a fantastic light. We have it in the living area with just the mother on for watching television as we don't light the room to be too illuminated for tv however my wife is an avid reader and partially visually impaired, so the daughter light is perfect for her behind her reading chair.

After an extensive search for a floor lamp with a side light, we finally came across this one. It was exactly what we were looking for, was very easy to set up, and is sturdy. The adjustable side light and dimming function is excellent. Thank you!
