Epping Solid Brass Cage Outdoor Wall Light
The Epping is a solid brass outdoor wall light with an open cage frame around a glass shade. It has the honest, robust look of a marine or industrial fitting, refined with a hand rubbed finish.
Brass is a smart choice outdoors because it does not rust; over time it develops a deeper patina. Choose forge black for a crisp modern facade or weathered bronze for heritage, coastal and farmhouse homes.
Key features
- Solid brass cage with glass
- Hand rubbed forge black or weathered bronze finish
- IP44 rated for covered outdoor areas
- 300mm projection x 245mm high x 100mm wide
Where to use it
Mount either side of a front door or garage, along a covered patio or alfresco wall, or beside a side gate. IP44 means it handles splashes and weather in covered or partly sheltered spots. For a front door, around 1700 to 1800mm from the ground to the centre of the light is a good starting height. Outdoor lights must be installed by a licensed electrician.
Globes
Takes 1 x E27 (not included), max 60w per globe. A warm white 2700k to 3000k LED globe gives a welcoming glow and keeps running costs low.
